Culinary Tuesday- mastering the art of entertaining!

This post  will def raise my entertaining bar in a few levels...
With spring around the corner and the sun shining this drink will knock your socks
Off!!!  It's a burst of minty freshness, juicy lemonade and a color that inspires!!!
I prepare this mint- lemonade almost on a daily basis, its addictive (you'll see) and the compliments are aplenty!
By the way, I started using mint in almost all my dishes and I must say that it upgraded my life…don’t be shy use it in chicken, salads drink, or even in a pitcher of water. In the summer I wash some mint and fill mu ice maker (the old school trays) with a leaf in each and once it freezes I put them in a pitcher of lemonade or water! The sight is gorgeous but the taste is even better! You can also add raspberries (to the ice trays) for a sweeter addition.
Another alternative is to serve this as an iced drink rather than the blended version, both ways are great!
Martha Stewart –The QUEEN of hosting, mastered the art of frozen eye candy (see DID below)…trust me you'll love it!
Call it LEMONANA!!
What you'll need:
Handful of mint
Your favorite lemonade
Ice
Blend it all together and Voual'a
P.S Remember- Always keep it fancy, for the final touch, add a sugar rim, so it's even sweeter!
This is what it's suppose to look like

                                                                Non blended version

Culinary Tuesday!!!

This recipe is my favorite for lunch, in a salad in pasta basically with everything,
You will see that I'm not mistaken!
It's called the PPCBWG (parsley, parmesan, cilantro, basil, walnut, garlic) tapenade with lemon zest yummy!!!!! OMG it's heaven with crusty bread or in a Panini!!!
I'm literally drooling lol!
P.S miraculously you might have some left no worries; you can freeze it for another day of craving! You can really be creative with this and serve it with everything!! Its goes great with a nice piece of meat….

What you need?
PPCBWG-a cup of each herb
2 tbs of parmesan
15 walnuts
1/2 cup of evoo
2 cloves of garlic
Salt/pepper

What to do?
Take all the herbs and rinse them well
Put them in the food processor and start crushing them
While they are in the machine add olive oil gently
Add walnuts, parmesan, garlic and S&P
Once it's all crushed together stop the machine and taste for improvement
add some fresh lemon zest and vuol'a!!
how did it turnout please tell?

Culinary Tuesday!!

My Caribbean tanned stuffed maple chicken!
When my chicken came out of the oven I thought it just came back from a 7 day cruise!
It looked so good, I didn't want to eat it, but I did!! I stuffed the chicken with wild rice chestnuts, onion, and some ground lamb…yum!
This is how I got the chicken's groove back!
1 happy! Chicken
2 cups of rice
1 cup of ground beef or ground lamb
1/2 a cup of Maple syrup
Handful of peeled chestnuts (you can get them in a bag)
Preheat oven (you know your oven gals!)
 What to do?
Clean the chicken and do a little chicken dance lol!
Fry one onion with the lamb or beef and add the rice- it has to be half cooked (you will see some water because it's not fully cooked yet!)
Now, take the rice and stuff it into the chicken, push it down and try to put as much as u can.
Put the stuffed chicken in a large pan and brush the maple all over it!
Cover with foil paper and bake it for an hour
Then take off the foil paper and let it get tanned for another 40-45 minutes you can use the broiler yet be careful…
Wish it good luck!!!
Your friends will talk about your chicken for days!!

add a fresh salad next to that and you have a simple meal!!! with only one pan to wash....LOVE IT!
