Moroccan Nights- Friday Night Dinner

Hi,

As you know I'm hosting a dinner. This is my game plan;

Steps 1- take a deep breath...
Step 2- plan a menu
Steps 3- make a sketch of the tablescape
Step 4- start cooking!

I know your dying to know the menu sooo... after going over many cookbooks and dozens of phone calls to my grandmother here it! Of course I modernized it and added my touch.

Moroccan dinners are known for the variety of salads they offer as an appetizer to the meal…the meal is known to take a long time while having conversations in between the courses.

First course-
Pesto Tehini on a bed of grilled eggplant served with pine nuts, colorful peppers with garlic, Moroccan carrot,
babganoosh, steamed broccoli, grilled cauliflower with herbs.

Second course-
Moroccan fish- tilapia cooked with bell peppers, garlic, lemon and tomatoes until it reaches perfection.

Main Dish-
Grilled vegetable couscous served with beef and a 5 hour tomato sauce (sounds delish!!!!!!!!!)
Seasoned potatoes grilled....

Desert-
Moroccan mint tea with homemade cookies, and an Orange cake since we have an orange tree in our yard..

Sounds soooo good, I hope it will turn out the way it sounds...

Post pics as soon as I can...

Much love

xoxo Sara Cee.

P.S i HOPE I WONT LOOK LIKE THIS AT THE END OF THE DAY (LOL!)
