My First Table Couture!!!

Hello loves!!!!

I am very excited to present to you my FIRST Table Couture, called Ruffle Bliss!! I decided to start hosting parties at my house, so last night we had hosted 4 couples for a Valentine Dessert party, It was fabulous....my darling husband was a charm! He sent me a huge bouquet of flowers and my fav chocolates...

I had candles everywhere and asked everyone to come with something red. We popped champagne and had a blast! I love the day of love!!!!

Are you asking how I did it?  Or why?

 My initial inspiration for this table couture was the movie "Black Swan" and a ruffled skirt. I spotted both at the same time and for me it was a sign that inspired me to design and create this gorgeous tablecloth! For the record, I must state that my camera is a regular camera. It doesn't do any justice to this piece. In reality the skirt is lined with layers and layers of lucious fabric in three colors; pink, baby pink and a light white. It took me about two weeks to make (due to a full time job I had to squeeze in, lol!).
This design my seem unconventional, but I believe in using nontraditional ways to refresh our dining experience, while being inspired by haute couture. There is no reason why our table should'nt look chic, sassy, fresh and fashionable just like us. My goal is combining what I see on the runway and translate it into something we can use on a daily basis.
